The young Bangladeshi team played as a unit and defeated India to reach the semi-final of the biggest cricket tournament in Asia. But, they couldn’t cross the final line as Pakistan won the final to lift the trophy. Not one player but the entire Bangladesh cricket team broke into tears when they lost the Asia Cup final in 2012 against Pakistan by just two runs.

After Sachin Tendulkar scored his 99th international hundred, India became obsessed with his 100th international hundred. All of a sudden, nobody was talking about his 99 hundreds as all the focus was on the 100th which he wasn’t able to achieve. The wait was finally over when Sachin scored his 100th hundred in an ODI match against Bangladesh in Mirpur. It was a very emotional moment for cricket fans all over the world and the legendary cricketer himself couldn’t stop his tears. Sachin, in his trademark way, looked up, thanked his father, but this time he had tears in his eyes.

5) South African team crying after losing the semi-final of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

South Africa lost a very closely-contested semi-final against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Proteas were the pre-tournament favourrites and the emotions were quickly seen on the faces of the whole team, and it was impossible to stop the tears.
