Video: AB de Villiers gets involved in the most funniest and unusual run out

South African captain AB de Villiers is one of the fastest runners between the wickets and he rarely gets run-out. But in a match against Zimbabwe, AB de Villiers got a little too eager to rotate the strike and got involve in one of the most funniest run-outs in the history of cricket. AB de Villiers clipped a ball sliding towards leg off the bowling of Prosper Utseya and started running for a single, thinking that the ball had gone past the wicket-keeper, Richmond Mutumbami.

But, to AB de Villiers’ misery, the ball had fallen just next to wicket-keeper who simply picked up the ball and dislodged the bails. By the time De Villiers realised this, it was too late, as the wicketkeeper had picked the ball up, to run the batsman out comfortably.
