10. YUVRAJ SINGH (155 SIXES IN 304 ODIs)

India’s swashbuckling all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is one of the sweetest timers of cricket ball. Yuvi holds the record for smashing 6 sixes in an over in T20I cricket. In his ODI career so far, Yuvi has smashed 155 sixes in 304 matches.

9. RICKY PONTING (162 SIXES IN 365 ODIS)

STAT-ATTACK: Most Sixes in ODI Cricket

The former Australia captain and one of the greatest batsmen to have ever played the game, Ricky Ponting is No. 7 in the list. Ponting smashed 162 sixes in his ODI career.

Indian captain MS Dhoni is No. 6 in the list. Dhoni, who is known as one of the best finisher in ODI cricket ever, has smashed 177 sixes in 253 matches, so far.

8. SOURAV GANGULY (190 SIXES IN 311 ODIS)

Sourav Ganguly, who is also known as the Prince of Kolkata, smashed 19 sixes in his ODI career. Ganguly was a very elegant batsman and watching him bat against spinners was an absolute joy for every cricket lover.

2. SANATH JAYASURIYA (270 SIXES IN 445 ODIS)

One of the most destructive openers to have ever played game, Sanath Jayasuria smashed 270 sixes in his ODI career that spanned over two decades. It’s noteworthy that Jayasuriya maintained a healthy strike rate of 91.20 in 445 One Day International matches.

1. SHAHID AFRIDI (342 sixes SIXES IN 389 MATCHES)

STAT-ATTACK: Most Sixes in ODI Cricket

Shahid Afridi, who is also known as BOOM BOOM, is at the top of the list. Afridi has smashed 351 sixes in 398 ODI matches. Afridi’s strike rate in ODI cricket is 117.00.
