India’s swashbuckling batsman KL Rahul is currently in some exceptional form with the bat and has been doing tremendously well with the gloves as well. Having given back-to-back blockbuster performances in the just-concluded five-match T20I series against New Zealand, KL Rahul gave a yet another brilliant performance in the 1st off 3 ODI matches today in Hamilton.
Before the match began, the New Zealand cricket team won the toss and opted to field first. the Indian openers Prithvi Shaw (20) and Mayank Agarwal (32) started the game for India, however, they gave a lukewarm start to the match as they were dismissed early without making it big.
However, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer and Indian skipper Virat Kohli brought the much-needed momentum to the game. Shreyas Iyer was finally able to pull off his first 3-figure score in international cricket.

He kept everyone on the edge as he hit 3 fours and 6 sixes during his knock.
Riding on the swashbuckling performances of Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul, the Indian cricket team posted a mammoth total of 347 runs in 50 overs to the New Zealand cricket team.
