Twitter Reacts After BCCI Named KL Rahul As Skipper For ODI Series Against SA

India’s sensational opener KL Rahul has been named as India’s ODI captain for the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa, which is all set to kickstart from January 19. On Friday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) finally announced an 18-member squad of the Indian side for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa.

Though the ODI squad was expected to be announced on December 26 by the BCCI, however, there was a delay in the process due to the lack of clarity on Rohit Sharma’s fitness. India’s newly appointed ODI skipper Rohit Sharma, who sustained a hamstring injury during the recently concluded series against New Zealand, has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series, forcing the selectors to appoint KL Rahul as the skipper of Team India for the ODI series.

While Rahul has been named as the skipper, India’s ace seamer Jasprit Bumrah has been named as his deputy for the series.

Meanwhile, as soon as the BCCI announced KL Rahul as the skipper for the upcoming ODI series, social media was flooded with amazing reactions from Twitterati to this. From cricketers, experts to fans, everyone came up with amazing reactions, wishing the star cricketer all the luck for his upcoming assignment.
