As ICC keeps on getting hammered by the cricket fans for choosing England as the location for the hallowed WTC finals, another funny incident unfolded right in yesterday’s play, leaving the world in splits.

While trying to play a stroke, New Zealand’s Devon Conway was knocked off his balance and one cameraman managed to capture the exact moment of him trying to get back to his feet.

Conway played a brilliant knock that saw him knocking 54 valuable runs from 153 deliveries. More importantly, it helped New Zealand to creep in closer vicinity of India’s paltry total of 217.

It was Latham and Conway who stitched together a significant stand between themselves before Ashwin managed to get rid of Latham.

However, it didn’t budge the Black Caps much as Kane Williamson came together with Conway to stabilize the innings and avert any further damage.

India had to wait until the final over of the innings when Ishant Sharma managed to best a persistent Conway to end the day on 101 for 2.

With things seemingly troubling for India, rain came to India’s deliverance on day 4 of the Test match.

Despite stabilising conditions on Day 2, the Indian batting order collapsed like skittles ij front of the New Zealand bowling line-up.
