VIDEO: Mohammed Siraj’s ‘Ball Of The Year’ To Ross Taylor

Mohammed Siraj Delivers The ‘Ball Of Year’: After Ajaz Patel stunned the cricketing world by taking all 10 wickets in the first innings of the ongoing Test match between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium, Team India came back strongly and demolished Kiwis batting-unit with a ruthless bowling performance.

India bundled New Zealand out for just 62 runs and took a massive lead in the game, which will ultimately result in a series win as the first match resulted in a draw.

India’s young fast bowler Mohammed Siraj started India’s bowling brilliantly and took 3 early wickets to push Kiwis on the backfoot right at the start of the innings. Siraj displayed brilliant skills with the new ball and swung the ball both ways at a very good pace.

But, his delivery was the one on which dismissed New Zealand’s most experienced batsman Ross Taylor. He pitched the delivery at a very teasing length and made Ross Taylor unsure whether he should go forward and hang back. Catching Taylor in two minds, Siraj swung the ball in from outside the off the stump and rattled the stumps with an absolute peach of a delivery.

It was a delivery that would have got any batsman out 9 out of 10 times. The length at which it was bowled, the speed and the swing, everything was just perfect and it earned Mohammed Siraj the priced wicket of Ross Taylor.

Cricket fans across the world enjoyed Siraj’s unplayable delivery and social media was flooded with clips, images and views on the delivery, which we believe is the ball of the year. You can watch the video here and relive the moment.

We hope Siraj keeps bowling like this and entertains cricket fans across the world with fast bowling. There is no better sight in cricket that seeing a fast bowler swing the ball at pace and rattle the timber.
