New Zealand’s middle-order batsman Ross Taylor has added another feather to his already glorious cap and has etched his name in the history books of the game of cricket by becoming the first-ever cricketer to have played 100 international matches in all three formats of the games. He achieved this milestone when he walked out to field against India on Day 1 of the ongoing First test match between the two teams.
Ross Taylor, who is known for his brilliance with the bat has always played an important part in the victory of his side. Whenever it comes to chasing big targets and his side is in a difficult situation, he has always turned out to be New Zealand’s ‘Mr.Dependable’. He is currently playing the 100th Test match of his career.
As the cricketer walked out to bat today, on day 2 of the ongoing first test match, the audience made sure to make it special for him. Ross was greeted with a standing ovation by the fans inside the Basin Reserve in Willington as they paid a heartfelt tribute to Ross.

Earlier, to make this moment special for Ross Taylor the New Zealand cricket fraternity presented him with a special gift for him. The batting star was presented with hundred different bottles of wine, one for each Test match he has played so far.
After day 1, Ross Taylor was asked what is he planning to do with it, to which he said that he would need some help to finish them all.
