10 Best Tweets On India’s Batting Performance In The Third T20I

The ‘Men in Blue’ yet again showcased brilliant batsmanship against the New Zealand cricket team to stay in a comfortable position in the ongoing five-match Ind vs NZ T20I series. Indian’s vice-captain and captain, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli once again displayed their brilliance and class in the middle to help India post 179 on the scoreboard.

Before the match started, New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and asked team India to bat first. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave a flying start to their side. Though KL Rahul failed to make it big this time as he went back to the pavilion earlier than expected. He scored 27 runs off 19 balls, where he smashed 2 fours and 1 six.

However, it was the performance of Rohit Sharma, that turned the tables for team India. He smashed New Zealand bowlers to all the corners of the ground. New Zealand’s Bennett became the victim of Rohit Sharma as he smashed him 26 runs in an over, which also saw him finishing his half-century.

At number 3, Virat Kohli promoted Shivam Dube and the decision backfired on him as Shivam Dube failed to perform, which eventually led to pressure on Rohit, who was dismissed by Tim Southee with a brilliant catch. He scored 65 runs off 40 balls, hitting 6 fours and 3 sixes before making his way to pavilion.

Virat Kohli (38) and Shreyas Iyer (17) then took the charge and smashed a few boundaries in the middle over to balance the innings for the Indian cricket team. The Indian cricket team gave a target of 179 runs to the New Zealanders.

As soon as the first innings came to an end, Twitter was already flooded with reactions from fans. From trolling Virat Kohli on his decision to praising Rohit Sharma, Twitterati gave amazing reactions on the first innings of 3rd Ind vs NZ T20I.
