Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli made an absolute mockery of the New Zealand’s bowling attack in Kanpur, in the third and final match of the ongoing three match One Day International (ODI) series.
Rohit Sharma had struggled to score runs in the first two ODIs and he under pressure to do well in the decider. Rohit took some time initially but once he got his eye in, he played his trademark strokes and didn’t allow New Zealand’s good bowling attack to settle.
The pitch was a good one to bat and both the batsmen took great advantage of the conditions. While Rohit was aggressor, Kohli played in his trademark style and built the innings beautifully. Rohit’s aggressive batting allow Kohli to take some and play the kind of cricket, he likes playing.
