New Zealand made a strong comeback in the second match of the ongoing 5-match One Day International (ODI) series against India and levelled the series 1-1. With this defeat, India claimed the unwanted record of being the first ever team to lose 400 ODI matches. It is true that India have played more matches than any other playing nation, but still this is one record Indian cricket fans will not like.

In the first match of the ongoing series, India became the first playing nation to play 900 ODI matches. India celebrated their 900th ODI match with a victory and also registered their 455th victory and inched closer to second place on the list of all-time ODI wins.

New Zealand made a good comeback in the second ODI and registered a win in a nail-bitter at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. New Zealand gave a target of 242 runs and India fell short by 6 runs in the end.
