Team India made a solid comeback in the final T20I match against West Indies is turning out to be a crazy one. The men in blue scored a mammoth total of 240 runs for 3 in series-deciding third T20 against West Indies at Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai.
Team India was asked to bat first after West Indies won the toss. However, the decision backfired on West Indies after KL Rahul along with Rohit Sharma kickstarted the match with a bang, conjuring 135 runs for the first wicket in 11.4 overs.
KL Rahul, who replaced Shikhar Dhawan in the series, after the former was injured, went on to give a thrilling performance, that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
KL Rahul just took 56 deliveries to blow everyone out. He hammered 91 runs in 56 balls, smashing the bowlers of West Indies in all the corners of the ground. Though he missed his century, but he stole everyone’s heart by his thrilling knock of 91 runs, he smashed 9 fours and 4 sixes.
Rahul not just cemented his place in the squad with his blockbuster performance but also turned out to be the man who was responsible for the carnage at Wankhede today.
