SRH vs RR Video: Jason Holder Takes The Catch Of IPL 2023

Rajasthan Royals’ star player Jason Holder stunned everyone as he pulled off a stunner at first slip to dismiss Rahul Tripathi during the ongoing encounter between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium.

IPL 2023 – Jason Holder catch at slip:

Rahul Tripathi came into bat & on the 5th delivery of the over. On the first delivery, Tripathi tried to play a crafty shot off the bowling off Trent Boult‘s delivery however he ended up edging it behind the wicket.

Jason pulled off a stunner at slips by using all his big wingspan. He displayed some great reflexes as he stretched his left-hand hand and made a perfect dive to his right and completed the catch brilliantly as his teammates erupted in celebration.

Even the on-air commentators were left stunned with the stunning athletic effort from the West Indies all-rounder. India’s voice of cricket, Mr. Harsha Bhogle even went on to call it ‘The Catch Of The IPL 2023’ till now.

Talking about the ongoing game, Rajasthan Royals made a flying start in their campaign opener against SunRisers Hyderabad.

Riding on the stellar knocks of Sanju Samson (55 off 32), Jos Buttler (54 off 22), and Yashasvi Jasiwal (54 off 37), Rajasthan Royals posted a big total of 203 runs for 5 against SunRisers Hyderabad. In the process, Rajasthan also became the first team to breach the 200-run mark this season.

Rajasthan Royals’ 85 for one was overall the sixth-highest total for any side in the powerplay, while it was also their highest score in the first six overs in IPL history.
