IPL 2017: World Westling Entertainment (WWE) COO Triple H congratulated the 2017 IPL winners Mumbai Indians for winning the competition for the record third time and has sent a gift for the Blue Brigrade team after their historic achievement.
Mumbai Indians defeated Rising Pune Supergiant in the final of IPL 2017 and became the first team to win IPL final three times.
The tenth edition of Indian Premier League was dominated Mumbai Indians right from the start of the season. They started the season with a bang and ended the league stage with the maximum number of points in the table.
But, RPS played MI 2 times in the league stage and won on both the occasions. They also defeated Mumbai in the first qualifier of IPL 2017 and advanced to the final. But, it was mighty Mumbai Indians, who showed experience and won the match in the last over. With this win, Mumbai Indians created history by becoming the first team to win three IPL trophies while their captain Rohit Sharma became the first player to win four IPL titles and the first captain to win three IPLs.

Triple H also wished Cleveland Cavaliers when they won the NBA title in 2016 and sent them a WWE belt with their logo on the side plates.
