India vs Australia 2017, second Test in Bangalore: Day 2 of the ongoing Test match between India and Australia was full of action as Australian batsmen showed resistance and Indian bowlers attacked them from every angle. Fast bowlers Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma bowled very aggressively and gave a tough time to Aussie batters in the middle. Ishant and Umesh bowled very fast and made full use of the dual nature of the pitch at Chinnaswamy stadium to trouble Australia’s top-order.
During the day’s play, Indian players, led by their captain Virat Kohli, got involved in many on-field conversation with Australian batsmen as sledging finally made its presence felt in the series.
Australia’s opening batsman Matt Renshaw revealed one of the conversations he had with Virat Kohli and it’s too funny. Indian captain reminded Renshaw to run off and go to the toilet again, after what happened in the first Test. Here’s what Matt Renshaw said in the post-day2 press conference:
“I was just trying to enjoy it and laugh at what (Kohli) was saying because some of it was quite funny,” Renshaw said in a press conference after second day’s play.
“He was just reminding me to run off and go to the toilet again which happened in Pune, so it was quite funny.
“There was a bit of talk but I think that’s because just (Smith and Kohli) are trying to unnerve each other and try and get under the skin.”
“It’s about embracing different conditions and challenges that we get.
“It was all good fun and a good contest out there.
“It was really loud out there when (Kohli) was doing that (pumping up the crowd) but it’s something I’m probably not used to.”
