RR vs LSG: Rajasthan Royals, who are currently sitting at the top of the IPL 2023 points table, are all set to lock horns against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on 19th April (*Wednesday) at Jaipur. While Sanju Samson’s RR is coming on the back of a stunning win against the previous season’s winner Gujarat Titans. On the other hand, LSG was defeated in their previous outing against Punjab Kings.

KL Rahul’s tactics were quite questionable during the game. Almost every player is contributing to the team’s success for Rajasthan Royals. But when it comes to LSG, their top order hasn’t scored runs according to their credentials.

RR Won The Toss And Opted To Bowl First

Rajasthan Royals Captain Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bowl first. Sanju was quite excited to play at Jaipur in the ongoing RR vs LSG game. Samson said: “We are going to bowl first. It looks like a really good wicket. We are very happy to come back to Jaipur and play after 4 years. It’s all about how we react under pressure. We have a fearless attitude. We have one change. Jason Holder comes back in for Adam Zampa,”

LSG skipper KL Rahul stated that he would have also bowled first. He said: “We would have bowled first as well. First game here. It’s important that we start well and put a good total on the board. We’ve executed well in most games. We have had clarity with bat on ball. All three skills have been good. We are quite settled. We’ll try to keep that left-hand, right-hand combination going. Quinny still misses out. He’ll just have to wait for some more time. I have enjoyed opening with Quinton,”
