Abdul Samad is a young and talented cricketer from the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. He was born on October 28, 2001, in a small village called Kalakote, which is located in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Abdul Samad is ruling the Indian Premier League 2023

Abdul Samad’s cricketing journey began when he was just 12 years old. He started playing cricket in his village, where he quickly caught the attention of local coaches with his natural talent and ability. His coaches saw great potential in him and encouraged him to pursue cricket as a career.

In 2017, Samad was selected to play in the Under-19 team of Jammu and Kashmir. He impressed everyone with his performances and was soon called up to play for the senior team.

In 2019, Abdul Samad was picked up by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. He made his IPL debut in the 2020 season and played a few handy innings for his team. However, it was in the 2021 season that Abdul Samad really made his mark in the IPL. He played some crucial innings for SRH, including a match-winning knock against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, where he scored an unbeaten 19-ball 33.

Samad is known for his hard-hitting ability and his calm and composed demeanor on the field. He has often been compared to former Indian captain MS Dhoni for his ability to finish games for his team.

Despite his success, Samad has faced several challenges in his cricketing journey. Being from a small village in Jammu and Kashmir, he had to overcome several obstacles to make it to the top level of cricket. He has also had to deal with the pressure of performing in the IPL, which is one of the biggest cricket leagues in the world.

However, Samad’s dedication and hard work have paid off, and he is now considered one of the brightest young talents in Indian cricket. With his talent and potential, he has the ability to go a long way in the sport and make a name for himself on the international stage.

Samad played a match-winning cameo:

On Sunday, Abdul Samad played a match-winning cameo of 17 runs in 7 balls and struck 2 sixes, and helped his side win the game against Rajasthan Royals. Samad was earlier caught out at long off but due to the no ball, SRH got another chance and he gave a perfect finish to the game by smashing a stunning six straight over the bowler’s head.
