There are fresh rumors of a rift between Ravindra Jadeja and CSK franchise. It seems that the all-rouder is unhappy with a number of thinks, including skipper MS Dhoni.
After one of the games, Jadeja was see having a big discussion with the skipper. Then, after the Qualifier 1, which CSK won against Gujarat Titans at Chepauk, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan was seen explaining, or as some fans suggested “consoling” Ravindra Jadeja.
A couple of recent tweets from Ravindra Jadeja too haven’t gone down well with the CSK fans. In a “karma” tweet, did he target MS Dhoni? In another tweet, after Gaikwad won the Player of the match award and not the all-rounder, he was explicit in his attack on some fans.
Many fans are even wondering whether Ravindra Jadeja could decide to leave the franchise.
Last season, there was a big strife created between Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni and CSK when Dhoni took back the captaincy after CSK lost 6 matches out of 8 under Jadeja. He also then walked out with 4 matches remaining citing an injury.
If Ravindra Jadeja does leave CSK and goes back in the auction pool, other teams would love to have an all-rounder of his quality and experience.
Here are 3 teams that could target Ravindra Jadeja if he comes in the auction:

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
RCB struggled with their lower-order batting this season. They also barely used Shabaz Ahmed with the bat. Ravindra Jadeja would be a proper upgrade on Shahbaz, no offence to Shabaz. Jadeja may not be the finisher that CSK use him in that role this season, but having a solid batter down the order would further free up Kohli and Faf to play in an attacking manner.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)
The pitch in Lucknow was the most slow and low that any venue offered this season, even more spin-friendly than in Chennai, where in a couple of games Jadeja wreacked havoc with the ball. One could only imagine how difficult it would be to even play him as a batsman, let alone hit him against the turn, in Lucknow if he joins LSG next season.
LSG too struggled with their Indian batting this season. Jadeja bringing in contributions to both departments would strengthen LSG who made into the playoffs.
Mumbai Indians (MI)
Would Ravindra Jadeja want to do a Luís Figo and join his arch-rivals club, Mumbai Indians? MI would love to have Jadeja. He will add more balance to the side and give MI a left-arm spinning option better than Kumar Kartikeya. Jadeja’s tidy bowling on flat Wankhede surfaces would more than welcome by MI if he plays in Blue next season.
