With the much-awaited World Test Championship Final between India and Australia just a few days away, the excitement among the fans has been increasing with every passing day. All eyes will be on the batting superstar Virat Kohli, who recently bounced back into form. He will be the key for the Indian batting line-up in the high-voltage summit clash.
Australian players describe Virat Kohli in one word

Meanwhile, ahead of the WTC Final 2023, the Australian team players also described Virat Kohli in one word and praised the Indian batter. Australian players including the likes of Cameron Green, Marnus Labuschagne, David Warner, and Pat Cummins all were praised for Kohli. They also admitted that the team would be hoping that Kohli won’t score in the summit clash.
Cameron Green even called Kohli the main of India. He said that he has been leading the team from the front for the last decade. He said:
“The man of India, that he has been for quite a while and he’s been leading the team for the last decade basically and being so successful,”
Usman Khawaja called Kohli ‘Competitive’ while Mitchell Starc claimed that the Indian batter is the backbone of the Indian middle order.
Cummins said that Kohli is a good player, who is always up for a fight. Steve Smith hailed Kohli as a superstar of the game, he said:
“He’s been a superstar for a long time, loves playing against Australia, often scores runs against us, but hopefully we can keep him quiet this week,”

However, it will be tough for the Australians to keep him quiet as Virat Kohli loves playing against Australia. He has scored 1,979 runs in 24 Test matches against Australia at an average of 48.26, with eight centuries and five half-centuries. Across all formats against Australia, Virat has played 92 games, scoring 4,945 runs at an average of 50.97. He has scored 16 centuries and 24 fifties against Aussies.
