When is Team India’s Next Series: Date, Time, Opposition, Venue

Team India and their fans suffered another heartbreak in an ICC knockout as Rohit Sharma‘s side went down to Australia by 209 runs in the World Test Championship Final at The Oval. Thus, this extended India’s decade-long wait of an ICC title for the senior men’s team. India had also lost the inaugural WTC Final, in 2021, to New Zealand in Southampton.

Pat Cummins’ “legacy-defining” Australian team outclassed India in all three departments. Having piled up 469 runs in their first innings, after being put in to bat first, Australia ran the show in London to kill the hopes of the Indian fans slowly, with the game ending in an Indian batting capitulation that saw India lose 7 wickets in the first session of Day 5.

Team India and their fans will have a long time now to ponder over their wrongs and how to right them and fuel up the transition period ahead of the next WTC cycle: Indian cricket team have almost a month long wait for their next international series.

When is India’s next match and series?

India will fly to the West Indies for an all-format tour comprising 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is, starting July 12.

The Men in Blue will kick-start their 2023-25 WTC cycle with a 2-Test series in West Indies from July 12 at Windsor Park, Roseau in Dominica. The second Test will start on July 20 at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The two Test matches will be followed by 3 ODIs – the first two ODIs in Barbados and the third in Trinidad. The tour will conclude with a 5-T20I series. The first T20I is scheduled for Trinidad, followed by 2 matches in Guyana. The teams will then fly to the USA, where the remaining two T20Is will be played in Florida.
