Ben Duckett has been one of the key members in England’s Bazball era. An all-format player for England, Ben Duckett has been exceptional with the bat for England over the past year.
The attacking left-hander is famous for, and takes immense pride, in not leaving balls outside the off-stump that are in his radar. While Ben Duckett is known for his aggressive batting, a picture of him being the shortest player in the England team also chuckles the fans, and there have been some funny jokes as well about his height.
Nothing, though, has been as hilarious as the recent clip that is going viral from the 3rd Ashes 2023 Test, at Headingley; this clip perfectly summed up the short height of Ben Duckett compared to most of his teammates.
During the national anthem ahead of the Headingley Test, the cameraman showed the England players knotted in their shoulders to each other and moved from one player’s face to another. Ben Duckett was standing between Zak Crawley and Stuart Broad, two towering figures compared to the diminutive left-hander. And it made up for a hilarious clip as the camera moved from Crawley to Broad but could only show Duckett’s head and not the face because he was sandwiched between the two lanky figures.

What is Ben Duckett’s height?
Ben Duckett’s height is known to be 5′ 7″ and he is certainly one of the shorter English players.
The difference of height between him and his opening partner, Zak Crawley, is often brought up when they are in the middle: Crawley, who stands at 6′ 5″, is 10 inches taller than Duckett.
He made his Test debut in 2016 and played 4 Test matches in which he averaged a paltry 15 and was dropped. However, Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum brought him back in 2022 and he’s been phenomenal at the top with the bat in hand. Since re-joining the side last year, the southpaw averages 60 with 2 centuries and 6 fifties and has a strike rate of 90.
