Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh hailed young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal for his powerful Test debut as he played a brilliant knock of 172 runs against West Indies in Dominica. Jaiswal played a stellar knock and ensured that India needed to bat only once in the Test match.
Jaiswal opened the innings with captain Rohit Sharma and together they took the game by storm. Jaiswal smashed 171 runs before he was dismissed by Alzarri Joseph. During his knock, he smashed 16 fours and 1 six.
Harbhajan Singh Gave A Golden Advice To Yashasvi Jaiswal

Admiring his talent, Harbhajan Singh said that Jaiswal has all the talent needed to be successful but he also advised him to continue to put in the hard yards as he feels that hard work will take him to some great heights.
Speaking in a video on his YouTube channel, Harbhajan Singh shared a piece of advice for Yashasvi. He said:
“Yashasvi Jaiswal has had an impact straightaway in international cricket. Although he will be disappointed to have missed out on getting a double hundred, I feel we are going to see him play for India for a very long time. There’s no shortage of talent and my advice to Jaiswal would be that work hard because you have what it takes to conquer the world.”
Harbhajan also spoke about captain Rohit Sharma’s hundred and Virat Kohli’s brilliant knock of 76 runs in the first Test. He said:
“There was a lot of talk that Rohit hasn’t scored big runs for 2-3 years, so congratulations to him. Virat also looked good for his 76. However, he will be disappointed to not have got the hundred and his fans too were eagerly waiting for him to get to that landmark.”
Further, Harbhajan Singh talked about India’s chances of winning the second Test match. He has no doubt that Team India will emerge victorious and will complete a 2-0 whitewash. Speaking about the same, he said:
“The result of this series is a forgone conclusion as I feel it will be 2-0. Indian players have another opportunity to score runs and pick wickets and maintain their good form. This form will help them in their upcoming games.”
The Indian cricket team will return to action during the second test match that will be played at Port of Spain, Trinidad, from Thursday, July 20th.
