Joshua Da Silva Is A Huge Virat Kohli Fan

During the ongoing West Indies Test series, Virat Kohli and Joshua Da Silva have been constantly chatting with each other. In fact, Da Silva seems to be a huge fan of Virat and he seems to have opted for the ongoing tour as a means to express his love and admiration for the Indian batting legend. Though, in Test games, usually the wicketkeepers are seen disturbing the batters with their constant sledging, however, this wasn’t the case with Da Silva as he was leaving no stone unturned to have a friendly chat with King Kohli.

There was one such amusing interaction between the two players when Da Silva revealed that his mother also want to see Kohli’s batting. He said:

“My mom told me she’s coming to watch Virat Kohli bat, I couldn’t believe it”

He added: “Get your 100 Virat, I want you to score it”

Kohli was left with a huge smirk on his face as he came up with a funny reaction. Kohli said:

“You are obsessed with my milestones!”

“I know I am,” responded Da Silva.

Talking about his knock, Kohli is currently playing on 87* runs and the star batter also broke many records during his 500th match. He became the only player to score a half-century in his 500th match. He also surpassed Jacques Kallis’ record and became the fifth-leading run-scorer in Test cricket.

Earlier in the game, the opening duo of Rohit Sharma 80 off 143) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (57 off 74) shared a brisk 139-run stand to provide another perfect launch pad before the Windies team struck four times in the afternoon session.
