Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli stole the show as he brought up his 29th Test century on the second day of the ongoing second Test match against the West Indies at Queen’s Park Oval. Kohli, who was playing his 500th international match, created history as he became the first batter to score a century in the 500th match.

With his 29th Test century, Kohli has reached a tally of 25 hundred batting at number 4th position. With this Kohli has placed himself fourth in the all-time list. Only Sachin Tendulkar, Jacques Kallis, and Mahela Jayawardene have scored more centuries batting at this position.

Most International Hundreds against West Indies:

With his 29th Test century, Virat Kohli equaled the record for the second-most international centuries scored against the West Indies. He is sharing the feat with the South African batting maestro Jacques Kallis, both amassing 12 centuries against the Windies. Only Sunil Gavaskar is ahead of these two by one century.

Kohli Equals Don Bradman’s Tally of 29 Test Centuries:

With this century, Virat Kohli has matched Bradman’s tally of 29 Test centuries, which is an extraordinary feat to get mentioned in the same breath as Sir Don Bradman.

Kohli has defied all odds and has become one of India’s most successful overseas batsmen. He has joined Sachin Tendulkar (29 overseas centuries) in this feat.

Least Innings Taken for 76 International Centuries:

Kohli has taken the least time to register 76 International centuries. With only 559 innings, he managed to score 76 international hundreds, faster than any other player in the history of the game.
