Less than 2 months are left for the biggest cricket carnival to start. This time around, the ODI World Cup 2023 will be hosted by the BCCI in India and is expected to be nothing short of a breathtaking festival for cricket lovers. This is for the first time in the history of this game that India will host the marquee tournament independently. The last time India hosted the tournament was in 2011 with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The highly-anticipated contest between India and Pakistan at the ODI World Cup 2023 has been rescheduled to a different day. Besides this high-voltage game, the dates of eight other matches have also been changed. The India vs Pakistan clash was scheduled to take place on Sunday, 15 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, however, the clash has now moved a day earlier and will now be held at the same venue on Saturday, 14th October.
While India vs Pakistan fixture has been rescheduled to 14th October, England’s fixture against Afghanistan in Delhi will be moved from Saturday, 14 October to Sunday, 15 October. Pakistan’s clash against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad has moved from Thursday, 12 October to Tuesday, 10 October and Australia’s clash against South Africa in Lucknow will now be played on Thursday, 12 October. New Zealand’s game against Bangladesh has been moved back and will now be held on Friday, 13 October
