Former India skipper and the current CSK captain, MS Dhoni, was seen celebrating the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission on Wednesday.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s spacecraft made a successful soft landing on the south pole of the moon, becoming the first-ever country to land on the moonโs south pole, on Wednesday evening at 06.04 IST.
The entire country erupted in great joy and jubilation at this historic event that was telecasted worldwide and received great applause from Indians all over the world. This was even more special as the ISRO scientists have had to make a comeback from the setback they had faced in 2019 when the mission had failed in its last stage.
MS Dhoni was apparently at his gym in Ranchi in the evening when this event unfolded on a television at the gym. A fan made a video of MS Dhoni smiling and acknowledging the success of India’s scientists and the video went viral. The revered, adored ‘Thala’ of everyone can be seen clapping his right hand on his thigh along with the other members of the gym.
