Young Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani revealed a heartwarming gesture of former India cricketer Rahul Dravid during the T20 World Cup in Australia. Dahani revealed how he learned a valuable life lesson from the legendary Indian player’s gesture.
Well, on Wednesday, eam India’s head coach Rahul Dravid celebrated his 50th birthday and fans from all across the world made sure to make his birthday even more special to him by sharing tributes and amazing birthday wishes for the legend. Among many, Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani also took to social media and left everyone in awe as he shared a heartwarming story of his meeting with Dravid.
Dahani took to social media to wish the India head coach his 50th birthday on Wednesday. Dahani revealed that he was having dinner with friends at a restaurant in Melbourne and Dravid met him on his way to his seat. The Pakistani pacer revealed how he was taken by surprise by Dravid’s gesture. He also shared a photo he had clicked with the India coach at the World Cup. He revealed:

This wasn’t the first time that Dahani has expressed his admiration for the Indian cricketers. During the T20 World Cup in 2021, the young pacer met and greeted MS Dhoni, who was the mentor of the Indian side in the UAE. He also wished Dhoni on his birthday last year and also urged him to continue playing the game and entertain his fans across the globe.
Talking about Dravid, the Indian head-coach celebrated his birthday with the Indian cricket team in Kolkata. In the video shared by BCCI, the entire Indian contingent arrived at their team hotel and they can be seen celebrating Dravid’s birthday.
