WATCH: Virat Kohli Redeems Himself With One-handed Stunner Against Nepal

Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli managed to redeem himself after dropping an easy catch as he claimed a tricky one-handed catch during the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 clash against Nepal at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Indian cricket fans were left disappointed after Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, and Ishan Kishan dropped three catches to give a strong start to Nepal in the group match in the Asia Cup 2023 on Monday.

The game began with team India winning the toss and electing to bowl first, however, the decision seemed to backfire. More than the bowlers, the fielders let India down in the first six overs, as the fielders failed to capitalize on the opportunities on the opportunities. In the initial overs, three easy catches were dropped.

The dropped catches proved costly as Bhurtel and Sheikh capitalized on the lifelines given by the Indian players. They formed a brilliant partnership for Nepal. However, Shardul Thakur managed to provide a breakthrough for India by dismissing Bhurtel, who had been a key figure in Nepal’s batting lineup.

But star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja pulled India back in the game with three wickets in quick succession. Indian spinners also showed some brilliance on the field to make amends for the dropped catches to put India back in the driving seat.
