10 Best Wishes By Fans On Suryakumar Yadav’s 33rd Birthday

India and Mumbai Indians star batsman Suryakumar Yadav celebrated his 33rd birthday today, on September 14, 2023.

He’s currently in Sri Lanka as part of the squad for the Asia Cup 2023 but hasn’t played a game yet. Despite his underwhelming ODI numbers – average of 24 after 24 ODI innings – Suryakumar Yadav has been picked up in India’s World Cup 2023 squad ahead of Sanju Samson on the basis of his staggering T20 form and what he could do in the ODI format if he gets going.

While his ODI form and selection is under scrutiny, there is no doubt of the fact that Suryakumar Yadav is an elite T20 batsman, and for many, the best T20 batsman currently in the world.

Having made his India debut at the age of 30, Suryakumar Yada’s T20I numbers are simply outstanding: in 50 T20I innings, he’s scored 1841 runs at an average of 46 and a sky-high strike rate of 172 with 3 centuries and 15 fifties. This combination of average and strike rate is unheard of in T20 cricket, something which the great AB de Villiers also couldn’t achieve in his T20I career.

It’s for this reason that Suryakumar Yadav is the number 1 ranked ICC T20I batsman in the world, and there’s no one to argue that. His rating points of 899 is miles ahead of the 2nd ranked Mohammad Rizwan who has 811 rating points.

His numbers for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL portray a similar picture: in 83 innings for Mumbai Indians, SKY has cracked 2641 runs at an average of 35 and strike rate of 146 with 1 century and 20 fifties. He was on another planet in the IPL 2023 season – averaging 43 with a strike rate of 181, which included a thunderous century against Gujarat Titans, who possess one of the best bowling attacks in the tournament.

The 33-year-old Suryakumar Yadav received a huge round of birthday wishes and love from the fans.

Here are some of the best birthday wishes on Suryakumar Yadav’s 33rd nameday:
