A Cricket Fan Spotted Why RCB Didn’t Smash 4s And 6s Against KKR

Virat Kohli and the boys didn’t have a great day at work in their opening clash of the second phase of IPL 2021 against Kolkata Knight Riders. Fans witnessed another batting collapse of RCB as they registered their 5th lowest-scoring total and lost the game by 9 wickets.

KKR spoiled the 200th match of Virat Kohli as KKR bowlers were all over RCB as they bundled them up for 92 runs. None of the RCB batsmen got going and they constantly kept losing the wickets in front of some very disciplined bowling from KKR. Infact, the top guns of RCB including the likes of Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, among others, all failed to contribute with runs, resulting in an embarrassing scorecard for Bangalore.

Meanwhile, fans on social media came up with hilarious memes and jokes while trolling RCB for their poor show. Among many, a fan spotted why RCB didn’t smash boundaries and sixes against KKR. In a jest, a fan named with the username ‘@ChinamanStrikes’ took a hilarious dig at RCB batsmen for their big brain moment as earlier they had announced to donate for every boundary and six.

For the unversed, RCB, extending their support to a noble cause, had announced that for every boundary that the players hit and for every wicket they take against Kolkata Knight Riders in their encounter, their title sponsors will be donated to help the frontline warriors.

“For every 6, 4 we hit and wicket we take today, our Title Sponsor be donating towards Give India’s frontline efforts. #CheerWithMuthootBlueforRCB @MuthootIndia #MuthootFinCorp #MuthootBlue #RCB #IPL #PlayBold #1Team1Fight,” RCB tweeted from its official account.

RCB had also shared a video, featuring skipper Virat Kohli, opener Devdutt Padikkal and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, urging their fans to cheer for the team as they don the blue jersey for a special occasion and extend their support for the noble cause.

However, as things didn’t go down well as planned, fans started trolling RCB, in a fun way. There were many who came up with hilarious memes and jokes while trolling the Virat Kohli-led RCB for not being able to score fours and sixes.

Here, check out how Twitterati are trolling RCB:
