Over the years, the ‘Hitman’ of the cricket world, Rohit Sharma has become the backbone of the Indian batting line-up. In the last few years, the right-hand opening batsman of team India has scored heavily in the limited-overs format of the game.

In fact, last year, Rohit Sharma was adjudged as the ICC ODI Player of the Year for 2019. He even holds the record for the highest score in ODIs for his monumental knock of 264 runs. Not just this, Rohit Sharma is the only batsman with three ODI double centuries and four T20I centuries.

His masterclass doesn’t stop here, in the year 2019, Rohit Sharma revived his Test career too after he was promoted as an opener. In his maiden Test series as an opener, Rohit scored two centuries and a double century against South Africa. However, the talent, the skills, and the masterclass that Rohit Sharma possesses are beyond his records.

This is the reason, perhaps why former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar was at a loss of words to describe the Indian star batsman in one word. Well, it all started after Shoaib Akhtar took to his Twitter and decided to interact with his fans via question and answer session on the micro-blogging site.

A Fan Asked ‘Describe Rohit Sharma In One Word’ And Shoaib Akhtar Gave A Heart-Winning Reply

On Sunday, Shoaib Akhtar took to his micro-blogging site Twitter and started a question and answer based interaction. He was bombarded with questions from fans ranging from his personal life to professional. Among many, one of the fans asked him:  “Describe Rohit Sharma in one word @shoaib100mph.”

Akhtar was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a reply to it. Responding to which, Shoaib Akhtar said:

“Jasay he word market main aata hai toh batata hoon ( Roughly translates to ‘will get back to you once I find the word in the market’)”

Here, check out the Tweet:
