India’s test specialist Ravichandran Ashwin has been very active on social media amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. From interacting with his fans, conduction question and answer sessions to giving live interviews, he has been entertaining his fans at a time when cricket in India has been halted because of the pandemic.

Recently, he hosted yet another Question and answer session, where he was flooded with questions from his fans. Amongst many, a twitter user asked him about the significant factor responsible for teams not being able to clean up the tail quickly.
In his tweet, the fan further asked Ashwin how the teams can improve on cleaning up to the tail. The fan wrote:
“Hey @ashwinravi99, what do you think is the single most important factor in teams at times not being able to wipe out the tail in a Test and what can teams do to better that aspect? #reminiscewithash”

The tweet soon caught the attention of Ashwin, who was quick to come up with a reply too. He replied to the fan’s question by comically saying that tailenders must bat like tailenders. He also admitted that times have changed now and no one is a walking wicked. He wrote:
“The tail needs to start batting like a tail for starters. Times have changed and no body is a walking wicket now.”

Well, we completely agree with Ashwin here as it is the same case with him. He started his career as a bowler and has managed to scalp 365 wickets with the red ball but he has also managed to score 2389 runs Test runs and 4 centuries. Not just this, with the white ball he has picked 150 wickets in 111 ODIs and 52 wickets in 46 T20Is he has played so far.
Meanwhile, R Ashwin will be soon seen playing for his franchise Kings XI Punjab in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League, which is all set to kickstart from September 19th in UAE.
