A Fan Gave 5 Reasons Why BCCI Should Sack Ravi Shastri: The Virat Kohli–led side entered the final clash of the World Test Championship against New Zealand as the favorites. However, the New Zealand cricket team defeated team India by eight wickets and gave an amazing performance in all the departments of the game.

Though the Indian cricket team started off well, however, there were moments when the Indian side couldn’t give the best of its abilities. Despite having some of the most experienced Test specialists in their side, including the likes of Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ishant Sharma, and Ajinkya Rahane, the Indian cricket team failed to win its maiden ICC World Test Championship.

Meanwhile, fans on social media aren’t too happy with the Indian cricketers and their head coach Ravi Shastri as well. As soon as India lost the match, fans started trolling the Indian cricket team. Fans are also slamming Ravi Shastri on social media. There are many angry fans who even demanded his resignation from the post of head coach.

Among many, a tweet has been going crazily viral on social media, where the fan gave not one but five reasons why the BCCI should sack Ravi Shastri from the position of Indian head coach. In his tweet, the fan explained how team India has lost all the big ICC events from 2015 to 2021. He wrote:

“Ravi Shastri as a Coach, Indian Team losing all the icc events…. Remove this guy #RaviShastri
2015 – World Cup
2016 – T20 WC
2017 – Champions trophy
2019 – World Cup
2021 – World Test Championship”

For the unversed, Ravi Shastri served as the cricket manager during Team India’s tour of Bangladesh in 2007 for a brief period and then later worked as a team director for team India between 2014 and 2016. It was in the year 2017 when Shastri was appointed as the head coach of the Indian cricket team.

Under his tenure, team India made it to the final of the ICC Champions trophy 2017 where they lost the game to their arch-rivals Pakistan. He was reappointed as the head coach for another two years in 2019. In the same year, team India was knocked out by the Kiwis in ICC ODI World Cup 2019. Now the Indian cricket team has lost yet another big ICC event, which was termed as the ‘daddy of all the world cups’ by Ravi Shastri himself.
