The Indian Test skipper, Virat Kohli is one of the most talented cricketers around the world right now. He is known for his flamboyant attitude on and off the field. When it comes to speculations and rumors, either the skipper doesn’t give too much heed to any of the news or he clears the air with straightforward comments.

While he has mellowed down in recent years, but there was a time when he was known for his temper and for losing his cool on-field. There was a time when he used to be in controversies for his altercations with the media and the crowd.




Talking about one such incident, the incident took place in December 2011 during India’s fateful tour of Australia. This infamous incident is hard to forget as Virat Kohli, out of frustration ended up showing his middle finger to the crowd and the controversy had gone a long way then. During the same time, Virat Kohli was offended by a Twitter user, who abused him.

The current Test skipper had warned the Twitter user that his account would be deactivated soon. Kohli had also advised him not to tweet to abuse others. He had tweeted: “@ishaan3 your account has been reported and will be deactivated soon. dont tweet if u wana use foul language,”
