The Pakistan cricket team completely outplayed the Virat Kohli led side to break India’s winning streak of 12-0 against them after their 10-wicket win in a T20 World Cup Super 12 match at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. This was the first time in the history of the tournament that the Pakistan cricket team was successful in defeating team India in a World Cup encounter.

Following an embarrassing 10-wicket defeat by the hands of arch-rivals Pakistan, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli was left baffled by a couple of questions at the post-match press conference.

A Journalist Asked ‘Will You Drop Rohit Sharma?’ And Virat Kohli Gave A Hilarious Reply

Well, Virat was asked several questions at the post-match conference that were actually ‘questionable’, however, he labeled one question as “brave” as a journalist asked if India made a mistake by playing Rohit Sharma ahead of Ishan Kishan for Sunday’s encounter.

Yes, you read that right. Virat Kohli was asked if he would drop Rohit Sharma, who was dismissed for a golden duck, in the next game after his golden duck. Responding to which, Virat said:

“It is a very brave question, what do you think sir? Because I played the XI I thought was the best. What do you think? What is your opinion? You will drop Rohit Sharma from T20 internationals? Do you know what he did in the last game?”

After a brief sigh, Virat Kohli started laughing and fumed at the journalist for asking such questions. He said:

“Unbelievable. Sir, if you want controversy, tell me before so that I can answer accordingly.”

The video of the hilarious interaction has been going viral on the internet and has left everyone in splita. Here, watch the video:

Virat Kohli was also asserted that team India isn’t a team that presses the panic button. He said: “We’re certainly not a team that presses the panic button, it’s the start of the tournament, not the end,”
