Yesterday (17 February) was the birthday of a South African player – AB de Villiers. On his birthday, de Villiers received birthday wishes from his fans across the globe. The cricket fraternity made his 36th birthday special by wishing in an exemplary way. #HappyBirthdayABD trended on Twitter with millions of wishes, videos of his incredible shots, tweets about his records and achievements.
The South African batsman is one the most most skilled players to play the game of cricket. The right-handed batsman aced all the formats of game for a long period of time consistently at the international stage. The versatile batsman adopted to the requisite situations perfectly and performed for his team. AB de Villiers was a vital cog in the South African team. And, the Proteas have struggled to performed well, ever since his retirement.
Because of his inhuman performances and nice character, the ‘Superman of Cricket’ is among the most loved players. Despite being a South African, de Villiers’ craze in India is unparalleled. Who could forget the chants of “AB AB” during a match between India and South Africa in India?
Like many others, @BorkenCricket also wished on the Mr. 360-degree on Twitter.

However, the tweet did not go well with a Pakistani fan – Saad Awais. Saad who claimed that AB de Villiers is his favourite, questioned if de Villiers had won any trophy. The Pretoria-born achieved almost everything in his career, however, he has failed to win any trophy so far. Cricket is a team sport and a single player can not win any trophy. However, de Villiers is often trolled for the same.

Saad who trolled de Villiers on the latter’s birthday got a befitting reply from an Indian fan. A Twitter account with handle @Marvellous_Capt enlightened Saad about the achievement of AB de Villiers. He also mentioned that de Villiers achieved what no Pakistani player ever could.
