A Stand Up Comedian Tweeted Why Rs 51 Crore Is A Almost ‘Nothing’ Amount For BCCI To Donate

As the whole country has come to a standstill because of the outbreak of Coronavirus, Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund have been set up by PM Narendra Modi. The PM CARES-Fund was announced on Saturday, where PM Modi urged everyone to “contribute towards strengthening the nation’s disaster management capacities”.
Soon, celebrities and commoners started donating money to PM CARES-Fund in order to help the government fight the dangerous disease and emerge victoriously. Several cricketers have also joined forces to help the government curb the disease.

On Saturday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a donation of Rs 51 crore towards the PM CARES-Fund. President of BCCI, Sourav Ganguly, took to his Twitter and announced the same. He wrote:
@Bcci and it’s affiliated State Association contribute 51 crores to PM- Cares fund to help #IndiaFightsCornona @narendramodi”
