A Troll Called Dean Jones “Annoying” Last Night And He Replied In His Trademark Style

Dean Jones, the legendary Australian cricketer turned sports commentator passed away in Mumbai on Thursday after he suffered a heart attack. News of the legendary cricketer and commentator’s demise has left everyone heartbroken and in a state of shock.

Jones was one of the most loved commentators and cricket analysts, who with his immense knowledge of the game had impressed everyone. He was currently in India as a commentator for the IPL. The news of his demise was confirmed by Star India via an official statement. They wrote:
“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing away of Dean Mervyn Jones AM,”
They added:
“He died of a sudden cardiac arrest. We express our deep condolences to his family and stand ready to support them in this difficult time.
“Dean Jones was one of the great ambassadors of the game associating himself with Cricket development across South Asia. He was passionate about discovering new talent and nurturing young Cricketers. He was a champion commentator whose presence and presentation of the game always brought joy to millions of fans. He will be sorely missed by everyone at Star and his millions of fans across the globe.”
Meanwhile, it was just a day ago when Jones won over the internet with his fitting reply to his troll, who had called out on his commentary. The troll wrote:
“Dean Jones is the most annoying commentator ever. Seems like a very annoying person as well. @StarSportsIndia needs to dismiss him ASAP, else the #IPL2020 needs to be watched on mute”

Jones was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a brilliant and humble reply to the troll. In his tweet, Jones asked the troll to just use the mute button. He wrote:

Prof, not everyone is used to ANZ ways of flamboyant, loud commentary. If you need commentators to say what is going on on TV, I don’t think that does the job any justice. Grew up watching Lawry, Greig, Ravi Shastri, etc, and you’re doing great. Brings excitement into our homes.
