A Troll Called Jimmy Neesham “Overpaid” And Got A Hilarious Reply

James Neesham aka Jimmy Neesham is one of the funniest cricketers in the world. Neesham is known for hilarious tweets and savage replies on social media. He is a very promising Kiwi all-rounder and he is presently playing for the Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2020.

Before IPL 2020, Jimmy featured in the 2014 edition of the IPL, where he had ended up as the poor performer for the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals). During IPL 2014, Neesham could only score 42 runs from 4 games at an average of 14 and strike rate of 91.42, not just this, Neesham proved expensive with the ball as he conceded 91 runs in the 12 overs he bowled.

Despite making a comeback in the IPL after 7 years, Jimmy Neesham failed to live up to the expectations of the fans as he scored only 19 runs in the 5 games he played for the team. Also, he took 2 wickets while giving 144 runs in his 15 overs at an economy of 10.16 and an average of 61.00.

Unimpressed with his performance, fans are slamming and criticizing Neesham for his performance. Among many, a Twitter user advised the Kiwi all-rounder to focus on the game and also went on to call him an overpaid cricketer. For the unversed, Jimmy was picked by KXIP for IPL 2020 at a base price of INR 50 lakhs. The Twitter user wrote:

“Stick to cricket. We don’t need your entitled opinion on the world. Overpaid celebrity hitting a cricket ball. Remember the world cup final when you bombed in the super over?”

Jimmy was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a reply to the Twitter user. In his reply, Jimmy gave a savage reply to the Twitter user by writing:

“Yeah that bomb was pretty good. About 20 rows back from my memory.”
