However, the skipper of England, Joe Root kept the scoreboard ticking as he played one of the most stunning knocks of his career.

While Joe Root turned out to be the hero for the England team as he scored sensational 180* runs, on the other hand, Siraj was the pick of the bowlers for the Indian side. Though, he missed out on his five-wicket haul but he registered the crucial figures of 4 for 94, in his maiden match at the Mecca of Cricket.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricketer has been receiving praises from all corners for his performances. From fans, cricketers to experts, everyone came up with amazing tweets lauding the brilliance of the pacer. Among many, a popular Twitter user compared Siraj to Virat Kohli.
