Former Indian cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra is one of the most popular personalities in the cricket world, who has made a name for himself through his cricket analysis and entertaining comments while doing commentary during the games. The former Indian opener is also known for his cheeky comments on almost every matter related to the game of cricket. He is very active on social media, where he never shies away from calling people out and taking a stand on serious issues.

While he is often seen taking stands for cricketers on various issues, however, this time he has stood up for himself on Twitter after he shut down a troll for insulting him.

Well, what happened was, a twitter user questioned Aakash Chopra’s credibility as an analyst and even called him a ‘failed cricketer’ by citing his international and IPL career statistics. He wrote: “Please explain your career too. What is this? How can you talk about cricket? When you are a failed cricketer,” the user tweeted.

Though, Aakash Chopra hasn’t represented the Indian side in many games but he has successfully transitioned into one of the most successful analysts in the game right now. Chopra, who has scored 437 runs in the 10 matches that he represented India in Test cricket, was quick to notice the Tweet of the troll and come up with a reply to it. Instead of staying silent, Aakash Chopra gave a savage reply to the troll, us shutting the user down. He wrote:

“I googled you…found no career in cricket or otherwise. Going by your logic, how can you talk about me?? When you a ________ person in life?  On a serious note : get a life, my friend 😇🫶🤗 Love you 😍”
