Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni’s cricketing career has become one of the most talked-about things in the cricket world. While the former skipper is keeping silent on his retirement plans, there are a lot of buzz going around his cricketing career.

Aakash Chopra Made A Controversial Statement On MS Dhoni’s Retirement

Recently, former Indian cricketer and current commentator, Aakash Chopra talked about the retirement of MS Dhoni. Talking to Pakistan legend Ramiz Raja in a YouTube video, Aakash Chopra expressed that he feels that MS Dhoni might have moved away from the game quietly. He feels that MS Dhoni’s last match at Manchester was his last match for team India. He said:

“MS Dhoni has not told anyone anything. He has a different story. What almost everyone think is that he might return to the Indian team if he performs well in the IPL. But I personally feel he played his final match for India at Manchester against New Zealand,”

He added:

“Since then, he has not made himself available to the team. He has not been dropped. I feel he has made up his mind that he is no longer going to play for India,”

Further, he said that there are no chances that MS Dhoni will make up for T20 World Cup unless Viral Kohli, Sourav Ganguly or Ravi Shastri ask him for help. He also claimed that if the T20 World Cup gets pushed we might never see MS Dhoni in blue jersey again. He said:

“Unless, of course, Sourav Ganguly, Virat Kohli or Ravi Shastri pick up the phone and tell Dhoni to help the team out in the T20 World Cup. If they tell Dhoni that they want him to play the World Cup, then there is a chance he could return,”

He added:

“He doesn’t want any noise. If the T20 World Cup gets pushed, then I don’t think you will see Dhoni in India’s blue jersey,”
