Aakash Chopra Picked 10 Youngsters To Watch Out For In The Future

Even with no cricket activity happening around the world, former Indian cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra has stayed active on his social media and has entertained the cricket fans by sharing videos of analysis of players and sporting topics.

Recently, Aakash Chopra shared another video of himself on his Youtube channel, where he picked ten youngsters around the globe, who would shine in the future in the cricket world.

Aakash started the list by picking three Indian youngsters, who have already impressed one and all with their performance. Aakash picked Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

While Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill have already entered the international arena, on the other hand, Yashasvi Jaiswal gained all the limelight with his performance in the U-19 World Cup this year, where he emerged out as the highest-run scorer in the team.

Later he then moved on to name three Pakistani cricketers. He picked bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah and batsman Haider Ali. Aakash Chopra was all praises for Shaheen, he had said:

“The left-arm pacer is really fast. He made his debut in the Asia Cup and he keeps on growing in leaps and bounds. He has a great height and can bowl the bowl full while swinging it. His speed is great and someone who can bowl full is bound to pick up wickets. The way his career graph is progressing, it looks like the future is his. We will probably be hearing this name even more as we go along”

He added:

“Haider Ali is another player from Pakistan. He is a batsman of pedigree. He has already done well if you look at his trajectory. He made runs in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy which is their domestic tournament.

He is getting a lot of praise from all quarters. He is being compared to Babar Azam, even being called the next Babar Azam. We don’t know if he can become the next Babar Azam but if he becomes Haider Ali first it would be more than good enough,”

Apart from these, other players who made it to the list were Australia’s Josh Phillipe, England’s Tom Banton, Afghanistan’s Noor Ahmed, and Proteas’ Gerald Coetzee.

Here is the list of players:

Shubman Gill (India), Shaheen Afridi (Pakistan), Tom Banton (England), Noor Ahmed (Afghanistan), Josh Philippe (Australia), Yashasvi Jaiswal (India), Gerald Coetzee (South Africa), Naseem Shah (Pakistan), Prithvi Shaw (India), Haider Ali (Pakistan)
