Aakash Chopra Reveals Why MS Dhoni And CSK Can’t Be Seperated

MS Dhoni, who retired from international cricket last month, is regarded as one of the most brilliant minds to have ever played the game. His captaincy skills took team India to new heights. Dhoni is also one of the most successful skippers in the history of IPL, having won the title for his team Chennai Super Kings three times.

As IPL 2020 is just around the corner, MS Dhoni and CSK’s fans are dreaming of winning another title. Well, such is the impact that Dhoni has had on CSK since the inception of IPL in 2008.
Recently, Aakash Chopra, in his latest video on Youtube expressed why MS Dhoni and CSK can never be separated. In the video, he talked about the hard-hitting fact that the cricketer will call it quits to IPL someday, just like how he bid farewell to international cricket recently. Talking about the same, Aakash Chopra said that his team CSK will become half of what it is today. He said:
“The franchise will become half if Dhoni the captain and Dhoni the player is not there. So this problem will be there with this team,”
He added:
“At some stage he will call it quits, then Chennai Super Kings will be at a huge loss even if not being half the side. Because the way that team has been managed by Dhoni, no one can do that. “

Calling it a marriage made in heaven for Dhoni and CSK, Aakash Chopra said that the future skipper of CSK will have a strong backing of Dhoni. He said:
“I do feel that whoever becomes the next captain or plays for CSK, will have MS Dhoni’s protection. Because Dhoni and Chennai Super Kings is a marriage made in heaven,”
He added:
”So he will be there, if not a captain, as a brand ambassador or mentor, he will be there in the Chennai Super Kings’ dugout is what I feel and they will need him,”

Meanwhile, the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League will kickstart from 19th September with the opening clash between the defending champions Mumbai Indians and IPL 2019’s runner-ups Chennai Super Kings. MS Dhoni, who was last seen playing for team India during last year’s World Cup semi-final against New Zealand, will be making his much-awaited comeback on-field and the fans are as excited as they can get.
