Aakash Chopra Shared Why ‘Janta Curfew’ Is Not Enough To Stop The Coronavirus Outbreak

Aakash Chopra Shares His Views On ‘Janta Curfew’: The outspread of Coronavirus disease has led to a widespread state of panic and fear all around the world. The number of patients affected by the disease has been increasing rapidly and it has become a matter of grave concern all around the world.

The number of Coronavirus infected people is also increasing at a rapid speed and has already crossed the 200-run mark. In order to contain the virus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, has called-out for a social curfew or ‘Janta Curfew’ and has urged everyone to adhere to it by not stepping out of their homes from 7 am to 9 pm.

Soon after the announcement, people started lauding the Prime Minister by appreciating his decision. Former Indian cricketer and popular commentator Aakash Chopra also lauded the Prime Minister but also showed everyone the mirror of reality.

Aakash Chopra took to his Twitter and wrote how one day of curfew is not enough for the containment of this disease, considering how fast it is spreading in the country. He then wrote how it is upon us to completely shut down.

Furthermore, in his second tweet, Aakash Chopra wrote that not everyone is privileged to sit at home and maintain ‘social distancing’ as millions of people rely on daily wages. Urging for a better solution, Aakash Chopra wrote:

“I get the psychological triumph #JuntaCurfew could provide. The feeling of getting together & all too. Well done, PM Sir. But the rapid rise in positive cases in Flag of India suggests that it’s not going to be enough…not even a drop in the ocean. Shutting down completely is upon us 1/2″

“What we need is a roadmap in case of a total shutdown. Not easy in a country where millions rely on daily wages. How are we going to look after them? Get food on their plate…and how prepared are our healthcare facilities. This needs to be communicated loud & clear 2/2”
