Such is his sharpness with DRS review that his fans and cricket experts named it as ‘Dhoni Review System’. However, it seems he has lost his Midas Touch!
Well, his recent DRS stats speak the fact that his level of sharpness with DRS has dipped. Out of his last 10 reviews, he has merely got one successful review. With the IPL reaching its climax, this is not a stat that he would be proud of. Also, his form with the bat has been very disappointing for the fans. In his 18 runs off 27-ball, MS couldn’t hit a single boundary and his knock was a complete struggle.
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra took to his Twitter and took a dig at MS Dhoni over his disappointing stats with the DRS. In his Tweet, Aakash Chopra trolled MS Dhoni by writing how the name of ‘Dhoni Review System’ has changed to ‘Dhyan Se Lena Review System’.
In his tweet, Chopra also highlighted how Dhoni has managed to take only one successful review out of his last 10 takes under the Decision Review System. He wrote:
