A couple of months ago, the cricket fans were left heartbroken when one of the most talented cricketers, AB de Villiers announced his retirement.  AB de Villiers’ sudden decision came as a blow to everyone as it was just a couple of months ago, that AB de Villiers’ gave an outstanding performance in the season 11 of Indian Premiere League.

It was more like an end of an era as AB de Villiers’ ended his 14 years long career. He made his debut in the year 2004 and since then he played 114 tests and scored 8,765 runs at an average of 50.66, which includes 22 centuries. AB de Villiers’ is considered as one of the legendary players.

However, despite the retirement AB de Villiers, has hinted that he will continue to play at the domestic level. Also, Ab De Villiers’ announced that he will continue playing in the Indian Premiere League and other T20 leagues as well.

Moroe is now roped in as the CSA’s official CEO, he revealed his plans for Global T20 league, contracts for women cricketers and proposals for AB de Villiers. Talking about his plans, he said :

‘I have already put in a proposal to him. In fact, I asked him two days after his retirement, he indicated that it is something he’ll be keen on but obviously we need to talk about the scale,’

He added :

‘AB has just retired with the notion of him wanting to spend some time with his family. If I’m going to put him in the development or pipeline structures and he spends more time away than when he was in the national team, then it’s obviously not going to work for him”.

‘So we just need to sit and agree on how and when we’re going to do it and the details around it. But it is something that he has indicated that he would be keen to do.’

We just can’t wait to watch Mr.360 back on the ground again.
