The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been under the scanner of critics because of his selection decisions, off-lately. The skipper was heavily criticized by many for not picking ace spinner Ravi Ashwin in his playing XI for the ongoing series, even for once. While he was getting criticized by several pundits and cricketers, his good friend and RCB teammate AB de Villiers has come out in support of the Indian skipper after his side registered an amazing win at the Oval.

Riding on the sensational performances of their bowlers on the final day of the 4th Test match, the Indian cricket team registered a terrific win at The Oval to a lead of 2-1 in the ongoing 5-match Test series.

Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, and Umesh Yadav took charge of the game while Ravindra Jadeja backed the bowling attack by consistently pitching the ball to help the Indian cricket team register a famous win at The Oval.

Meanwhile, as the Indian cricket team registered an amazing win, cricketers, fans, and experts — everyone went berserk and took to Twitter to celebrate the amazing win of team India at the Oval. Among many, cricketing superstar AB de Villiers also joined the bandwagon.

AB de Villiers took to Twitter and shared a beautiful message for the fans of Test cricket. In his Tweet, AB urged the spectators to stop worrying about the team selection and other factors and he asked them to start appreciating the performance and the patriotism. He wrote:

“As “spectators” of Test Cricket, just stop worrying about team selection and other nonsense and start appreciating the competition, passion, skill, and patriotism unfolding in front of your eyes. You’re missing a good game!”

In another Tweet, AB de Villiers heaped praises on the Indian skipper Virat Kohli for his amazing captaincy. He also praised Joe Root and his team. He wrote:

“Well played India, well Captained @imVkohli and amazing skill and guts from a few individuals. Also well played @root66 & England! Great ad for our beautiful game! Excited for the finale”
