Well, the duo was none other than the two best hitters of Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Both of them gave an amazing performance last night and led the Indian cricket team to the winning side by 8 wickets beating the West Indies team. The match turned into an eye treat for the fans as the duo gave a stunning performance and chased the huge total of 322 runs.

While the Hitman Sharma scored a massive 152 runs, smashing 15 fours and 8 sixes. the skipper of the team, Virat Kohli went on to score 140 runs, hitting 21 fours and 2 sixes. Both the cricketers made the game look so easy. Praising their performance, Ravindra Jadeja said :

“If they are set, it’s tough to get them out. They can hit ground strokes and in the air with equal ease. It becomes tough against such batters,”

He added :

“They played proper cricketing shots. They did not take any chances, they were just playing according to the situation,”

Ravindra Jadeja returned with the figures of 2 for 66 as the Windies too put up a rampaging batting show. Talking about the condition of the wickets, Jadeja said :

“The wicket was very good to bat on. It was not spinning or swinging much. The ball was coming on to the bat nicely. It was ideal conditions for the batsmen,”

Needless to say, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma give run to the bowlers with their hard-hitting shots. They can turn any match into a one-sided match with their performance. The next match of India and the Windies will take place at Vishakhapatnam for the second ODI on October 24.
