Sayali is currently busy promoting her National-award winning film, Goshta Eka Paithanichi, which was released on December 2. The actress recently reacted to the link-up rumors with Gaikwad and she revealed that they are not dating each other but the rumors have affected their friendship.
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Sayali said: “There is nothing. Because of these rumours, our friendship has also got spoiled. We cannot talk to each other as friends. Kuch tha hi nahi. Mujhe pata bhi nahi kyun joda jaaraha hai humko. Because of rumours, a few issues are created in our personal life as well, which gossipmongers don’t understand. It affects us a bit. He is a nice player. And initially, we spoke about it. Initially, we avoided it, saying, ‘Chod na rumours hai’.”
She also revealed how the rumors started affecting their personal lives. She said that people would get to know once they are married to their respective partners. She said: “Because of this ghar pe stress create ho jaata hain. Today, if I have to comment or congratulate him on his work, I cannot do that. Even he cannot say anything about my work.”

His sensational run in the Vijay Hazare Trophy comprised four centuries, including his unbeaten knock of 220 runs against Uttar Pradesh where Gaikwad had smashed 7 sixes in one over to script a world record. Apart from Vijay Hazare Trophy, Gaikwad performed well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament as well where he scored 295 runs in 6 games.
